The LARGE GALLERY         

has 18'''''''' high ceilings, a 16'''''''' width and a 45'''''''' depth.

This gallery space has showcased every media, from drawing, painting, and sculpture, performance, sound and video installations. We''''''''ve had a live grass growing carpet, 10'''''''' tall flowers which spoke to you as you passed, shower stalls with very interesting medicine cabinets contents.  We''''''''ve put a motorcycle through the back interior wall for our exhibition "Scared ___less",  suspended 20 electronic speakers which responded to interactive stimuli. We''''''''ve worked often with RPI''''''''s IEAR program and with many other local institutions.

To meet our mission goals, FSG calls for regional, national and international submissions for theme exhibitions. Entry fees $25 (non-members)  & $20 (members)

ANNUAL MEMBERS EXHIBITION, 2010

November 11, 2010- January 2, 2011

Pre-curated e-mail Deadline: November 1, 20010            DROP OFF Deadline: November 1 - 9, 2010                            

CRITERIA: Work is all media is accepted - up to 5 submissions per member. Members who live outside of the Capital Region may have their work previewed and be notified of selected pieces prior to the drop off deadline, enabling time for framing and/or shipping. There are no size restrictions.

AWARDS: There will be a Juror''''''''s Choice Award and other cash prizes which will be announced closer to the exhibition date.
